Following on from an inspiring day at WiTWA Tech[+] Conference on Thursday was the WiTWA Tech[+] 20 Award ceremony at Crown. The WiTWA team once again pulled off a fantastic event to celebrate women in technology in Perth.
Once again I was asked to help out in the AV suite and control the slides as the winners were announced – no pressure! Everything was going well until the MCs decided to mix up the order of award presentations, but some quick thinking between me and the AV team meant we were able to keep things flowing without skipping a beat (phew!).
The vibe in the room all night was fantastic and it was great to see so many people supporting women in technology. I met some great people across the evening and look forward to another year of supporting WiTWA to do great things.
